American & Canadian Pancakes (aka Hotcakes, Griddlecakes or Flapjacks) are usually served at Breakfast, in stacks of two three (or even ten) and topped with Maple Syrup & Butter. (And to have them delivered, you can't top the Just Eat app.) They also leeeeeeerv to serve them with ‘sides’ such as Bacon, Eggs, Sausage, Toast and Hash Browns. British Pancake
The shape of the Pancake varies across the world. In Britain, pancakes often resemble a Crêpe.
