Thai Soups
Thai Soups are both healthy and sip-sationally tasty. Tom Yum Soup is a hot and sour broth made from lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves, dried chilli peppers, lime juice and usually cooked with prawns. It’s popularity is worldwide, so deffo worth a try. (Well, the world can’t be wrong, can it?) Tom Kha Kai is a mild-to-spicy soup with coconut milk, galangal and chicken. Mushrooms can either complement the chicken, or replace it. Kaeng Liang (Thai Vegetable Soup) is one of Thailand’s healthiest dishes, with a stock-based soup swimming with vegetables such as baby corn, broccoli, cauliflower, pumpkin and mushrooms, and flavoured with fish or soy sauce.
Sate (Satay)
Want to go to Thailand, but used up all your holidays? Then let Just Eat bring the tastes of Thailand to you. For starters there’s Sate (Satay), marinated beef, chicken or pork grilled on bamboo skewers served with peanut sauce and pickled cucumber. Or Thai Spring Rolls, usually served as a dim sum containing minced pork, shredded carrot and bean sprouts with a Thai dipping sauce (kind of similar to Worcestershire sauce).
