The Classic Hamburger is actually a beefburger (the beef is there’s no ham) and consists of a freshly-ground, 100% beef patty, cooked medium in a normal soft bun with a slight glazing on top. Then layered with iceberg lettuce, fresh tomato, onions, pickles and house dressing. Then mustard, mayo or ketchup to taste. Just say ‘Cheese’, and you’ve got yourself a Cheeseburger. Traditionally, the slice of meltable cheese is laid on top of the sizzling-hot patty just before serving to get that gooey texture (yeah, you know the one).
