Just Eat reward global IT hero with year’s supply of free pizza
Guy pretty much saves the world – Just Eat give him free pizza for a year. A sentence so beautiful it brings a tear to one’s eye.
Modern-day superheroes travel by surfboard, are really good at stopping nasty computer hackers, and LOVE pizza from Just Eat restaurants. That’s now a fact. So old superheroes, step aside and have a long old look in the mirror.
If you don’t know who he is already, meet 22-year-old Marcus Hutchins of South-West England. AKA: the incredible tech-wizard that stopped a recent global cyber attack from his bedroom. The virus had reached several countries and forced several NHS hospitals here in the UK to switch off their systems. But, fuelled by pizza, reports suggest Marcus nipped it in the bud within fifteen minutes.
So, as the hero who stopped the ransomware virus, known as WannaCry, we thought it was only right to spread some cheesy love of our own and provide Marcus with his very own supply of piping-hot pizza, free for a whole year from any Just Eat restaurant.
Call it a thank you on behalf of the nation – a small slice of our appreciation. Massive props to you Marcus, and enjoy your next Just Eat delivery. ?
