445 meals donated by our incredible restaurant partners

Thank you to our restaurant partners who have joined our festive food movement and provided 445 meals to those in need this Christmas!

This year we're using our network as a force for good to support vulnerable, lonely and homeless people, who will undoubtedly find this Christmas extremely difficult. That includes drawing on the support of our customers, restaurant partners, couriers, and employees to provide at least 200,000 meals to those who need it most. 

Our restaurant partners regularly give back to their local communities and this year, a number of restaurants have kindly donated hot and cold food to some of Social Bite's charity partners across London, Birmingham and Bristol. These charities will help to ensure that those who are vulnerable or facing food poverty, have a home cooked meal to eat this Christmas.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to the these restaurants who have gone above and beyond to join our festive food movement and provide food to the homeless and vulnerable. These include:

• Big John's, Birmingham

Special thanks also to our Just Eat for Business Team who helped co-ordinate deliveries to shelters in London on behalf of the following restaurants -

• Cafe Route, London
• Parsley Catering, London
• Coco Di Mama, London

In total, our restaurant partners have prepared and provided 445 meals for the homeless and vulnerable and played an active role in eradicating food poverty.

It's not just meals that have been delivered. Last week some of our couriers got involved with our Christmas Meal Appeal by delivering Christmas gifts and parcels of essential items to those who need it. Packages included toiletries, warm clothes and treats to be enjoyed. 

A huge thank you to those who have joined our Christmas Meal Appeal and help delivered some festive cheer to those who in need. Don't forget, there is still time to donate at checkout and help us hit our target of at least 200,000 meals!
